About this site
Privacy
We keep this simple: the site collects as little as possible, and never anything that identifies you.
What we collect
This is a static informational website. We do not ask for personal information, we do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share any data.
To understand what content is useful, we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It records only aggregate, anonymous page visits: which pages are viewed, rough visit counts, and general referrer or country information. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses or other data that could identify you, and does not track you across other websites. Because we collect no personal data and set no cookies, there is nothing to opt out of.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, or you use an ad/analytics blocker, that is respected: the site works exactly the same either way.
External links and services
Some pages link to third-party sites (journals, GitHub, FigShare, Google Scholar, university pages, news outlets). Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies; we have no control over it.
